The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce serves one of the nation’s foremost high-tech corridors and acts as a resource for almost 1,000 business members in Western Fairfax and Eastern Loudoun Counties. Many of those companies are government contractors like you, however, the seasoned but smaller contractors tend to be underserved. In 2010, we launched an effort to better support this important group through a series of programs addressing their greatest challenges so they could take their business to the next level! This is our first event of 2011, so please join us to learn about “what’s happening” at the Small Business Administration (SBA) and how it may affect your business. Rebecca Kehoe, manager of Watkin Meegan’s Government Contracting and Technology Group, will share her unique insight into the SBA. With more than 15 years of experience addressing compliance issues for government contractors, Ms. Kehoe consults with small and medium-sized businesses providing proposal support, guidance to program staff in SOW creation, contract and subcontract agreements, cost/pricing data, representations and certifications, and subcontract technical evaluations. Ms. Kehoe also worked for the Office of Regional Counsel and General Counsel for the U.S. General Services Administration.
