Rob Joyce to lead NSA cyber office

The National Security Agency today announced Rob Joyce will replace Anne Neuberger as the chief of its cybersecurity directorate.
Joyce, a 2018 Fed 100 winner, is currently serving as a special liaison officer for the NSA at the U.S. Embassy in London. He was previously a senior advisor for cybersecurity strategy to the NSA director. Prior to that he was a special assistant to the president and cybersecurity coordinator in the National Security Council for the Trump administration in 2018.
Neuberger was recently tapped by President-elect Joe Biden to become deputy national security advisor for cyber and emerging technology. She was also first to the lead the NSA's cybersecurity directorate, which was established in October 2019.
