Army picks 17 companies for $5B ITES-3H contract

The Army has awarded 17 companies a spot on the latest iteration of its contract for hardware, software and related services, the $5 billion IT Enterprise Services-3 Hardware (ITES-3H).

The contract, somewhat long in the making, was intended to replace ITES-2H in 2014 but was delayed by protests and other issues, Washington Technology reported. ITES-2H, which had six contractors, was extended several times, $1 billion to its ceiling.

The Army received 50 bids for ITES-3H, awarding spots on the contract to eight large businesses and nine small businesses, which will compete for task orders.

The large businesses:

  • CDW-G
  • Dell
  • GovConnection
  • Hewlett-Packard Enterprise
  • IBM
  • Telos
  • Unicom
  • World Wide Technology

The small businesses:

  • Affigent
  • Dynamic Systems
  • Force3
  • Government Acquisitions
  • GTRI
  • Intelligent Decisions
  • Iron Bow
  • MicroTech
  • Wildflower

The contract, which is open to all government agencies, runs through Feb. 21, 2021.
