The Navy’s Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) will brief industry on contributing to the office’s Innovation Cell during an industry day March 26.
The half-day event, which runs from 8 a.m. to noon, will be held at the Sheraton Tysons Hotel in Vienna, Va. The Northern Virginia chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association will co-host the event.
The PEO EIS Innovation Cell is intended to bring Navy officials and industry together in order to explain the Navy’s enterprise IT needs and, eventually, get IT solutions deployed more quickly. The industry day will explain the Navy’s Innovation Cell process.
Featured speakers at the event include Navy PEO EIS Victor Gavin, Acting Department of the Navy CIO John Zangard and Matthew Swartz, director, Communications and Networks Division Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Dominance (N2N6).
