Navy awards $243M contract for aircraft engineering services

The Navy has awarded six contractors with a $243 million task order to provide systems engineering services for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Department, reported Washington Technology, a Defense Systems sister publication.
Several programs will receive support, including Joint Precision Approach and Landing Systems, Navy Unmanned Combat Aerial Systems, Unmanned Carrier-Launched Airborne Surveillance and Strike, Broad Area Maritime Surveillance, War Fighter Networking, Unmanned Aircraft System/Ground Based Sense and Avoid, and Automated Aerial Refueling Support.
The six winners are AM Pierce and Associates, BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, Booz Allen Hamilton Engineering Services, Coherent Technical Services, Engility Corp. and Sierra Nevada Corp.
