The Air Force wants software that can help analysts identify targets from an unconnected patchwork of high-and-low resolution imagery data, reports
NextGov.
The goal is to establish computer technology that can help detect improvised explosive devices and various ground threats, the story said.
The solicitation seeks to further so-called machine-learning technology; that is, artificial intelligence capabilities that allow computers to identify complex patterns and make informed decisions with repeated use, the story said.
