Air Mobility Command on prowl for handheld, touch-screen devices

The Air Mobility Command wants industry input on handheld, touch screen-controlled devices with which it might equip its personnel, according to a May 21 request for information published on the FedBizOpps website.
The command is seeking handheld devices controlled by touch screen that can only be accessed using a secure digital memory card, the announcement states. The devices should be capable of supporting the Pashto and Dari languages.
Responses to the RFI, which includes a list of eight questions, are due June 29.
