The Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command has chosen Cobham for a $60.7 million contract to provide it with satellite communications antenna systems, the company said Nov. 4 in a
press release.
The contract includes commercial off-the-shelf, small ship variant, ultra-high frequency satcom antenna systems and mobile user objective systems, and also associated spares and subassemblies, the press release said.
Additionally, Cobham has finalized a purchase agreement worth up to $12 million with Thales Communications Inc., in which it will supply the company with satcom antennas for several of its joint tactical radios over the next six years.
