Army chooses contractor for UAS support services

The Army has awarded a five-year contract with options potentially worth $105 million to Aerodyne to furnish engineering and support services to the service's Unmanned Aircraft Systems Project Office, company officials said Oct. 24.
 
Under the contract, Aerodyne will furnish a wide array of services, including program and acquisition management, systems engineering, test and evaluation, life-cycle logistics, and fielding, training and sustainment.
 
Aerodyne will perform the work primarily at the Army's Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Ala.
