Army to hold NIE industry day in September

The Army plans to hold a briefing Sept. 8 in El Paso, Texas, to inform interested contractors about how the service’s Network Integration Evaluation works and how they can get their equipment tested, reports Defense News.

The industry day event is scheduled to occur a month before the Army holds the second round of the exercise.

The service completed its first round of the NIE in August in which the 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, tested various radio and communications components in a desert setting at White Sands Missile Range, N.M., that resembled conditions and terrain in Southwest Asia.
