The Special Operations Command is moving closer to the award in late June of a contract for a new mid-endurance unmanned aircraft system, reports Paul McLeary at Aviation Week’s Ares Blog.
A presolicitation announcement in January indicated that the command was seeking an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance UAS that could provide a “near real-time feed of ISR product” through a three-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract.
The final solicitation, issued April 28, is classified and requires a special login to access.
