ManTech to support Naval Air Systems Command's Warfare Analysis and Integration Department

The Navy has awarded ManTech International Corp. a $17.5 million extension that calls for a range of IT services under a previously awarded indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract.

Under the contract extension announced by the Defense Department on March 28, ManTech Systems Engineering unit will provide warfare analysis, modeling and simulation, software development, and analytic program support for the Naval Air Systems Command’s Warfare Analysis and Integration Department.

About 85 percent of the work, which is expected to be completed in March 2012, will be performed at Patuxent River, Md., and the remainder at Lexington Park, Md., according to the DOD announcement.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, is the contracting activity.
