Lockheed wins Air Force mission planning software deal

Lockheed Martin has won a $49.6 million indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract from the Air Force to furnish software applications support for the U.S. Strategic Command, the Defense Department said Jan. 29.

Under the contract, the Bethesda, Md.-based company will sustain and maintain the global strike and product support suite of software applications within the Mission Planning and Analysis System framework, DOD said.

The company will perform the work at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. The contract ends Jan. 31, 2018. 

The contracting activity is AFLCMC/HBCC.
