8 to compete for $98M in Navy C5ISR tasks

Eight contractors will vie for tasks associated with command and control services under an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Navy contract valued at $98.7 million over five years, the service announced on Nov. 26.

The contracts will compete specifically for tasks related to commmand, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C5ISR) electronics and communications services that will support the Navy's transport and computing infrastructure portfolio. The tasks will enable the service to attain goals and objectives in the areas and sectors of interoperable C5ISR, information operations, enterprise information services and space capabilities.
