Navy taps Accenture for systems engineering support

The Navy has awarded Accenture Federal Services a contract with a potential value of $43 million over five years to furnish command, control, communications, computers and intelligence systems engineering support, the comnpany said Oct. 18.

Under the contract, Accenture will furnish program management and engineering services support primarily to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific in San Diego, CA.

SSC Pacific is the Navy's research, development, testing and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for C3 systems and ocean surveillance. Engineering support will include analysis of command and intelligence systems, concept definition, and system development and design required for implementation and upgrades.
