GeoEye delivers web networks

GeoEye announced this week that it has made a scheduled delivery of additional web hosting service networks to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

The company’s  EnhancedView Web Hosting Service is now connected to additional government networks and will provide warfighters and intelligence analysts around the world easy access to unclassified, high-resolution Earth imagery, GeoEye said in a statement.

EnhancedView has provided users with online access to GeoEye and third-party Earth imagery – both process and unprocessed – since May 2011.

The new delivery increases by $750,000 the government’s monthly payment to GeoEye under an existing service agreement.
