Thinklogical debuts high bandwidth router

Thinklogical unveiled what the company says is the world’s largest and highest bandwidth KVM and video router this week at the GEOINT 2012 Symposium in Orlando, Fla.

The VX640 offers 640 ports with 6.25 gigabytes per second of bandwidth per port. It’s designed to meet growing demand by customers such as military and intelligence agencies for a secure, high-bandwidth router for high-density, mission-critical environments, the company said in a statement.

“We are proud to announce that Thinklogical customers are already reaping significant benefits from the VX640, as it has already been successfully deployed in a classified government environment,” Larry Wachter, the company’s vice president of research and development.
