Army selects SAIC to support geospatial enterprise services

The Army Geospatial Center has awarded Science Applications International Corp. an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract potentially worth up to $200 million over five years to support geospatial enterprise services (GES), company officials said Aug. 27.

Under the contract, SAIC will provide a wide range of geospatial research, intelligence and support services to support GES and also will build an architectural framework that is capable of gathering, analyzing and disseminating geospatial information to warfighters, company officials said.

The AGC furnishes warfighters with timely, accurate and relevant geospatial information, capabilities and domain expertise for Army geospatial enterprise implementation in support of unified land operations.
