Software app keeps smart-phone chatter secure

Several military and intelligence agencies are using an anti-hacking software application that delivers voice encryption to block call interceptions on smart phones, reports NextGov.

Officials at Cellcrypt say their app, Cellcrypt Mobile, runs on a variety of commercial mobile devices, including Android, BlackBerry, iPhone and Nokia models, according to the story.

Two military branches are using the app for their special operations forces, company officials told the media outlet. The company declined to name specific units for national security reasons.
