Unmanned aircraft crashes into Somalia refugee camp

An unmanned surveillance aircraft crashed Feb. 3 into a refugee camp in the Somali capital, reports the Associated Press.

Refugees and soldiers in Mogadishu's Badbado camp say they watched the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), said to be the size of a small airplane, crash into one of the camp's huts, the article said.

The United States has been using UAVs to attack or observe militants linked to al-Qaida in the Horn of Africa nation, the story noted.
