DOD identifies 30 key warfighting capabilities

The Defense Department has published a list of 30 warfighting capabilities it says it needs to fight in any setting around the globe in the future, reports Defense News.

The Joint Operational Access Concept identifies ways the services must work together to defeat major threats, the story said. The document will shape development of future weapons and equipment.

In addition to traditional fighting capabilities, the document also covers space and cyberspace, the story said.
