Army PEO C3T Price promoted to major general

The Senate confirmed Nov. 10 the promotion of Brig. Gen. Lee Price, the Army's program executive officer for command, control and communications (tactical), to the rank of major general, Army officials said.

Price became the first female PEO for the Army in November 2009 when she took her current assignment. As PEO C3T, Price is responsible for about $4 billion annually in funding to develop, acquire and field the communications, computers, generators and specialized applications for tactical forces.

Previously, she served a three-year tenure as the deputy acquisition executive for the Special Operations Command.
