Four share $1.5 billion DOD award
Booz Allen, CACI, Jacobs and SRA to compete for task orders supporting the Special Operations Command
Four companies have won a share of a $1.5 billion contract to support the U.S. Special Operations Command.
Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI International, Jacobs Engineering Group and SRA International will compete for task orders under the Global Battlestaff and Program Support Services contract.
The command will use the contract to support its business operations, the Defense Department announced.
The contractors will provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items needed to support the command’s mission globally.
The companies also will provide subject matter expertise in areas such as time-sensitive planning, interagency support, intelligence operations, military planning, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance program analysis. Other areas include, biometrics, socio-cultural analysis, geospatial analysis, signals intelligence and joint planning, budget and resource management.
The contract has a three-year base and one two year option. Each contractor is guaranteed just $2,500 under the contract.
All four companies are ranked in the 2009 Washington Technology Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
