Army enlists help for testing C4I systems
Agreement also covers support for navigation and sensor systems
ManTech International Corp. will help the Army boost its command and intelligence capabilities under a new contract potentially worth $286 million over five years.
ManTech will furnish a wide range of services for the testing of command, control, communications, computers and intelligence, navigation and sensor capabilities at a number of Army installations throughout the continental United States, company officials said Nov. 12.
The services covered under the agreement include scientific, engineering, technical, administrative, maintenance and logistics, the officials said. Other services that might be called for are instrumentation and hardware/software-related development, and also laboratory and testbed operations and special studies.
The work will be done at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.; Yuma Proving Ground, Ariz.; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Lewis, Wash.; Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., and White Sands Missile Range, N.M.
The Army Electronic Proving Ground headquartered at Fort Huachuca is the contracting activity.
