Army names new PEO-EIS

Douglas Wiltsie is set to take over as Army Program Executive Officer-Enterprise Information Systems, picking up where Gary Winkler left off when he stepped down in April. Wiltsie is currently Deputy Program Executive Officer-Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors. He will officially take over with an Oct. 5 change of charter, according to Nancy Self, PEO-EIS public affairs.

According to his bio, as PEO-IEWS Wiltsie has been responsible for the development, acquisition, fielding and life-cycle support of Army intelligence, electronic warfare and target acquisition programs. He has also worked within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASAALT), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, NATO and with the former Future Combat Systems and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance programs.

Terry Watson, deputy PEO-EIS, has been serving as interim PEO-EIS since Winkler’s departure.
