See how your elected officials voted on business issues

The people we elect to Congress are supposed to represent our views in government matters. One business group has given everyone a chance to see how their senator and House member rank on 10 business-related votes in the past two years.

The Business Coalition for Fair Competition has released key vote ratings for the 111th Congress in its new report.

The coalition tracks how members of Congress voted on legislation such as the economic stimulus law and the fiscal 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act, among others.

The coalition said Congress is leaning away from its support of business.

“We are seeing an unprecedented level of government expansion into numerous activities that should be left to the private sector,” said John Palatiello, the coalition’s president.
